Next to join our Wellness Council is science-based Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach, Kelly Mulhall. With a background in Yoga and Meditation, Kelly uses natural methods to positively balance physical and mental wellbeing.
Kelly supports individuals with issues ranging from fertility, hormone imbalances weight regulation and more. We're so excited for Kelly to join our panel of experts.

First of all, we caught up with Kelly for some quick-fire questions:

What's your morning routine?

I try to drink a glass of water before I've even gotten out of bed (this helps flush out the lymph system from all the metabolic toxins that gather overnight!). I'll then do a quick 5 minute stretch before hopping in the shower. Then, it's always followed by a big breakfast: I love porridge and have it pretty much all year round with lots of berries, seeds and cinnamon. I'll also have a PRESS ginger shot and Lean Green juice. Then its on with the day!

A habit you'd like to start?

I've just bought an ice bath so I am planning on doing that every morning for a few minutes. I've been doing the cold showers since lockdown but full body immersion, especially in the winter, will be tough!

A health myth you'd love to bust?

That vegan means healthy. There are so many highly processed foods out there labelled as vegan and it certainly doesnt mean they are healthy. Whether something is made with meat or not, if it contains lots of additives, preservatives, saturated fats, or E numbers, it's still not good for you. I always say, if you need a scientist to tell you whats in your food, then its probably not worth eating.

Your top healthy tip for anyone?

Just eat more vegetables! Aiming for 8-10 a day will help you thrive rather than just survive. The phytochemicals in vegetables are what helps build a strong immune system, so the more variety you get, the stronger your immune system.

A recent wellness brand you've tried?

I'm really interested in the power of medicinal mushrooms and I've been trying a lot of the mushroom coffee and cacaos. I like the Cacao mix from Four Sigmatic and the Zen Coffee from London Nootropics.
