What The F(ruit) Are Smoothie Bowls?

Well, #smoothiebowls are a social media food trend that have been around for a while now but we are still loving it!
They contain more fruit and less liquid, which makes for a more filling meal and a perfect palette for toppings galore. This allows you an extra opportunity to add healthful nutrients and superfoods to your day, while also making it look aesthetically pleasing. Good luck trying to make your runny smoothie look insta worthy!
By eating with a spoon rather than a straw encourages you to slow down and practice being a more mindful eater, which will make it more satisfying and also more satiating, meaning you’ll feel fuller for longer.
The talented Eli Brecher has created some delicious, gut-goodness smoothie bowl for you to give a go at home.
