No spice cupboard is complete without Garam Masala. The classic Indian blend of hot, peppery and sweet spices is a classic blend of 7 wonderfully fragrant spices. The spices are delicate, so ideally should be added towards the end of the cooking to complement the spices used in the curry, but Garam Masala can be fried with onions at the start of a curry if preferred. Garam Masala will add sweet warmth to compliment the heat of chillies and ginger.
